Calico Ghost Town

Calico is a ghost town and former mining town in San Bernardino County, California, United States. Located in the Calico Mountains of the Mojave Desert region of Southern California, it was founded in 1881 as a silver mining town, and today has been converted into a county park. Located off Interstate 15, it lies 3 miles (4.8 km) from Barstow and 3 miles from Yermo. Giant lettersspelling CALICO can be seen on the Calico Peaks behind the ghost town from the freeway. Walter Knott purchased Calico in 1950s, architecturally restoring all but the five remaining original buildings to look as they did in 1880s. Calico received State Historical Landmark 782 and in 2005 was proclaimed by then Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to be California's Silver Rush Ghost Town.

Flying

Bring me down
Or I might disappear
Like a wish flying towards heaven
Among white clouds
Where angels bless me
And let me live eons
On second thought
Don't ask me to be back from heaven
Or I might fall
And never get out of this abyss

Exhausted love

The well of unrestrained love is exhausted
Replenish it someone if your's is not dry yet
Or it might be too late
And the earth might die

Death is beautiful

Death is beautiful
Only truth life offers
The sole certainty
If it wasn't for death
There would be no life either
So let's strive to live till we die
May be it will get better

Death Valley

I don't exist
I am sound
The waft of smoke
Only visible from a distance
Coming from the earth
Swallowed by the sky
I am in the hourglass
Going from one side to another
Never finding peace
Rushing back and forth
Until exhausted
As time stops

Buried in sand
For how long;
Nobody knows;
Time had stopped
But then appeared a glimmer of hope
Glistening under the desert sun
Extending tender hands and
Guiding gently

..... And we walked in the desert
Singing out loud
As the wind carried it far
Far away to the vastness
Mountains, behind which are Native reserves
Serene, quiet, adorned with cacti and boulders

Colors of music

I want to fly with the wind and be dispersed like colors from a cello
Floating on the wind like pollen from a dandelion
Hanging on a branch like a frozen droplet of water
Not falling, but just stuck in time
And then disintegrating like a dry leaf when someone steps on it

Why exist?

Times keep changing and nothing remains constant forever, not even the ocean or land, which has been around for millions of years. What are we? A spec of dust in this huge universe or an atom or perhaps just an electron? If existence itself has no meaning, why do we exist? And if we have to give meaning to our existence, why do we have no control over it?
